Uptown Sushi is a fusion restaurant located in Uptown Park near the Galleria.  The restaurant offers great sushi in a chic, beautiful, clean environment. The establishment gives an intimate feel with their incandescent lighting and fixtures. The Sushi bar is situated in the center of the restaurant and allows guests to get an up-close look at what is being served.  I was invited to a lunch meeting at Uptown Sushi a week ago. I was lucky to have gone with someone who knew exactly what to order, so that allowed me to have a full experience.

Sakura Japanese Steakhouse and Sushi Bar - Pearland Texas

Visited this wonderful restaurant in the pearland town center for a friend's birthday happy hour. It was a wonderful experience filled with what I love most: spending time with loved ones, food, conversation and laughter. 

The restaurant manager is very entertaining and kind. He made time to come sit with us and share a few laughs.

What I ate:

I ordered the spicy California roll, Crab Puffs and a Cosmopolitan. Everything was good! For once I tasted an actual Crab Puff, you know- filled with creamy crab meat instead of just cream. After we were all done, the staff came out with drums, fried banana with ice cream and sang happy birthday to the birthday girl.

Before leaving, the manager came back with flaming shots( you can't see it in the picture but the presentation was pretty dope👌

Ambiance: 
This was my go-to restaurant when I couldn't make up my mind on where to eat. Located next to Forever21 right on Westheirmer at the Galleria, it's really not hard to miss. Great atmosphere and great food. The lighting is dim, soft and calming to the eyes. You may sit , by the sushi bar, regular dining area, or at the bar(Hang there during Happy-Hour for deals). The restaurant tends to get packed by the bar during Happy-Hour, but I've never had to wait to be seated anywhere else.

What I Ate:
I've been several times, so I can tell you what is great to order. The Chicken Caprese sandwich with a side of fries, California Roll, Pork Sliders, and my sister's favorite- the Butter cake. And to drink; The Hibiscus Margarita and your regular other margarita flavors. Amazing!
