PIADA Italian Street Food Opens in Houston

I was one of many Houstonians who got a preview of PIADA Italian Street food before they open their doors to the public this coming Friday. Piada is a casual eatery on a mission to create fresh, modern italian food prepared with high quality ingredients. In our world of "busy", it has become tough to obtain quality food in a quick manner. Piada looks to change that.

The restaurant reminds me of Chipotle, as their styles seem to be alike. Though similar, both eateries have their own unique flavors and styles. The ambiance at PIADA is like that of Chipotle, but I think just like their food, it has a fresher feel. You line up and tell the "chefs" what you fancy(A Tasca, Piada, Pasta, or salad), which they then begin to prepare in their open kitchen as you look on. The serving quantity are just right, you also have an option at ordering a side with your meal and washing it all down with Italian sodas, teas and/or your regular soft drink options.

PIADA is located on Memorial Dr., right near Brenner's on the Bayou. They will be open daily from 10:45a-10p. For more information on PIADA, visit their website.
