California Pizza Kitchen opened its newest restaurant last month in The Woodlands. The brand new restaurant is located at Restaurant Row on Hughes Landing on the beautiful Woodlands Lake. CPK is one of seven restaurants that guests of Hughes Landing will have the opportunity of experiencing as they visit Hughes Landing. The restaurant is fresh, vibrant and sophisticated, but still keeping its traditional aesthetic.
You'll have the pleasure of dining in a sustainable atmosphere, and enjoy decor made from reclaimed and recycled material. The restaurant's outside patio features a fire pit and offers a beautiful, relaxing view of Lake Woodlands. Just like their other locations, guests can enjoy watching their pizzas hand-tossed and baked in CPK's famous open-hearth oven, and dishes prepared from scratch in the open kitchen.
I had the pleasure of being invited to dine at CPK on the lake and ended my experience tossing my very own pizza with Kitchen Manager, Bret Bartelme. Although my tossing skills haven't quite developed(they make it look so easy), I learned some great skills from Bartelme and his staff. Now, let's rewind back to the food(insert rewinding sound), CPK offers fresh seasonal made to order dishes which I had the opportunity to taste along side some cocktails.
